The ACOI is delighted to announce that our 2021 annual conference will take place as a virtual event on the morning of the 18th November.
The conference theme, ‘From Tiger to Crisis to Recovery & Beyond - the future evolution of Compliance’, will focus on the role of the compliance professional and how the compliance profession is likely to evolve in the years ahead.
Topics to be discussed will include the future digital environment, sustainability, accountability and governance, regulation and the skills that will be required by tomorrow’s compliance professionals.
The ACOI is delighted to announce that Ed Sibley, Deputy Governor, Prudential Regulation, Central Bank of Ireland, has confirmed that he will speak at the conference. In his role as Deputy Governor, Mr Sibley is responsible for leading the supervision of credit institutions, insurance firms and the asset management industry.
In addition, the ACOI is delighted to confirm that William Callahan, Director Of Government & Strategic Affairs at the New York based Blockchain Intelligence Group will. Bill served over two decades in various law enforcement positions with the Drug Enforcement Authority (DEA) in the US prior to taking up his current role. Bill will share expertise in data privacy and global anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, policy, and government matters.
